NSU Admission Test: Complete Mathematics
This is the complete mathematics course for the North South University undergraduate admission test, covering Section 2: 50 questions in 75 minutes, with no calculator permitted.
Thirty-one chapters cover every topic on NSU's published Quantitative Aptitude syllabus, including the ones most students overlook because they never appeared on a sample paper: matrices and determinants, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, sets and Venn diagrams, functions and inverse functions, and complex numbers.
Every chapter follows the same structure, so you always know where to look:
In plain words. A ground-level explanation before any notation appears. If a topic feels unfamiliar, this is where you start.
English terms glossary. If you studied in Bangla medium, the mathematics is often already familiar; it is the vocabulary in the question and the answer options that creates the difficulty. Each chapter names those words first.
Definitions and theory. Results are derived rather than asserted. Understanding why the quadratic formula works, or why the digit sum test for 9 holds, makes it far harder to misremember when it matters.
Worked examples. 183 of them, numbered, with the reasoning shown line by line.
Common error. The specific mistake examiners build wrong options around, named explicitly in every chapter.
Trick technique. The shortcuts that matter when you have ninety seconds per question, from the LCM method for time and work to recognising Pythagorean triples on sight.
Graded exercises. Band A for direct application, Band B at examination standard, Band C beyond it, with full answers.
The course includes questions from NSU's own published sample paper, worked through step by step.
